FRIENDS OF GABBILJEE GET TOGETHER
Sat, 13 Apr
|Brockman Park
To start our year let’s get an idea of the big picture and go for a walk through the Reserve. Would you like to join us? We’ll give a bit of a commentary about all sorts of things along the way and check out how last year’s upland seedlings are doing (or not doing!).
Time & Location
13 Apr 2024, 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Brockman Park, 50 Brockman Ave, Bull Creek WA 6149, Australia
About the event
To start our year let’s get an idea of the big picture and go for a walk through the Reserve. Would you like to join us? We’ll give a bit of a commentary about
all sorts of things along the way and check out how last year’s upland seedlings are doing (or not doing!). The riparian ones are doing really well. It’s been a
couple of years since we’ve walked the Reserve.
Saturday 13th April, 8am, Brockman Park
Wear: longs and definitely enclosed shoes, hat
Take: water bottle (piece of fruit for the walk?) and a mug for a cuppa afterwards (I will provide the snacks/fruit)
We’ll start at Brockman Park, walk beside the creek till we get to the steps up to Karel, join the limestone path, continue down across the bridge behind Rossmoyne SHS and then down to where the creek goes under Leach Highway. We won’t cross Leach. Then returning along the limestone path back to Brockman Park. That should take about 1.5 hours at a moderate pace with chatter; leaving enough time for a cuppa and more chatter back at Brockman.
As always it helps with planning if you can let me know you can join us.
